The whole record, chronologically

Flooding the zone
only works if nobody keeps a list.

The technique is to produce more than anyone can track, so each thing gets three hours of attention before the next one arrives. It is extremely effective against a news cycle and completely useless against a list. This is the list.

You can see it.

Each bar is one month. The height is how many documented events landed in it. No single month feels like much while you're living through it — which is exactly the point.

Why this page is the whole argument

Nothing here is a scoop. That's what makes it work.

Every line was reported at the time, usually by several outlets, usually prominently. Not one of these is a secret. And yet reading them in sequence produces a completely different impression than encountering them one at a time over twenty months — which is the only way almost anyone has encountered them.

That gap between "I knew about most of these" and "I had no idea it was this much" is not a failure of your attention. It is the intended output of a strategy. Attention is finite, news cycles are three days long, and anything that survives past the fourth day gets replaced by something newer.

A written record has none of those limits. It does not get tired, does not move on, and does not forget what happened in March by the time December arrives. That is the entire reason this site is boring on purpose.
